Nike. Campaign Storytelling.

How we collaborate with Hype DC and Rebel Sport to champion Nike’s brand stories.

What we do.

As an integrated extension of Nike’s Digital Brand Team, we work hard behind the scenes to enhance their product launches and campaign storytelling across digital platforms. This sees us collaborating with the likes of Hype DC, Vice, Foot Locker, Rebel Sport and more to deliver consumers an all-round premium experience of Nike, in every corner of the digital landscape.

Here are a few favourite campaigns we’ve brought to life.

Month of Max 2017 for Hype DC.

Come March every year, the world’s Sneakerheads go wild over Nike’s month-long celebration of their Sportswear icon – the Air Max footwear family.

In 2017, Nike challenged us to concept, design and build a Month of Max hub for their key campaign partner, Hype DC – not in any of their flagship stores, but online. The dynamic digital hub needed to tease weekly product drops, count down to epic release dates, and notify Snearkerheads when their fav product was about to drop. On top of this, we integrated video and Spotify playlists into the page, to tie-in the campaign ambassadors known to Sneakerheads as ‘Revolutionairs’.

The result? A multi-layered microsite that updated throughout the month, dropped the curtains on big reveals, and saw thousands of die-hard Air Max fans vie to get their hands on these limited-edition sneakers.

Beautiful X Powerful for Hype DC and Facebook.

To launch the Beautiful X Powerful Sportswear collection into the Australian market, Nike partnered with Hype DC to tell the story of fierce female athletes. Nike wanted to lead with an elevated social presence and into a full takeover on Hype DC.

A first for Hype DC, we created a Facebook Canvas that acted as a crystallised version of a full campaign page, leading consumers from the Hype DC Facebook through to their e-commerce platform. Using editorial-style photography, carefully-crafted copy, sleek animation and subtle parallax effects, the Hype DC page takeover was more than just product promotion – it was emotive, inspiring and of course, beautiful.

Magista Obra for Ultra Football.

With a campaign story that championed the bold, the brave, and celebrated quick thinking and intelligence, we knew the digital showcase for the Magista Obra Football boot needed to be all that, and more.

By simulating our partner’s website environments, our designers and developers are able to deliver a custom experience that looks great and works seamlessly once we’ve integrated our code into their live site.

Featuring a custom-built rotator that allows the user to interact with the boot from all angles, a seamless slider that lets them go beneath the Flyknit, video integration and fully-responsive animations, our Magista campaign page for Ultra Football was one for the footballers looking for that deeper connection to the boot they choose.

Metcon 3 for Rebel Sport.

This summer, Nike Pacific released the latest in their line of Training shoes: the Metcon 3. With a much heavier focus on Metcon in Pacific than in any other region around the globe, our challenge was to spread the Metcon story via Nike’s local ambassadors.

We took the story far and wide – from custom Snapchat codes and filters, to Spotify-branded placements and banner campaigns, Facebook Canvases and out-of-home digital billboards – all culminating in a slick takeover on Rebel Sport.

Across all these digital touchpoints, we took Nike’s creative that was bold in its typography, unflinching in its commitment to monochrome, and backed by a group of strong and powerful women, and brought it to life with sharp animations to drive home the message: Stop Exercising. Start Training.
