If you learnt everything you know from W3Schools and think cPanel is pretty neat, this probably isn’t the role for you.
If you’re someone who commits their node_modules folder to their SVN repository or embeds database credentials in source code, this definitely isn’t the role for you.
However, if you’re the kind of person who reads up on machine learning for fun, builds static websites with Lambda, API Gateway and DynamoDB as a hobby, and gets a kick out of automating repetitive tasks – read on.
We’re looking for a proactive backend developer with varied experience in website architecture and a can-do attitude. Someone who’s as comfortable coding as they are communicating complex, technical concepts to clients.
Naturally, you’ll be analytical in everything you do – whether you’re delivering well-documented code, structuring a technology solution for a client or deciding where the team goes for our weekly coffee outing.
So that’s you covered, but you’re probably wondering what kind of people we are. In short, we’re a small, highly collaborative team filled with people who give a shit.
We choose client work we’re passionate about, but we do more than client work. We expect and nourish ideas for internal team projects and trailblazing ahead, sometimes without permission.
We move fast, without ever being chaotic. We listen and we consider every move. But we’re usually quicker than the rest when we decide to act. We’re honest. We’re humble. We’re hardworking. And we’re fully transparent with clients. No wall, no robotic agency gloss – our real selves, front and centre. We tell clients how we like to work and invite them to come along for the journey.
We also offer a steady supply of whisky, wine and beer.
If we sound like the kind of people you want to spend 23% of every week with – what are you waiting for? Get in touch today.
